New Zealand ain't Bagdad
Maori training for terror.. Tame iti was preparing to declare an IRA-style war on New Zealand. According to police documents. Thats what we read and heard form the media. For the reason police used the newly conceived “Terrorism Act” to raid and arrest suspected New Zealand citizens, and then later tried to lay charges under this obserd act. Now proved to be totally ill conceived by the Solicitor- General stating the police had no evidence to lay charges under the badly legislated “Terrorism Act”. An act that charges on suspicion only. Should be a real concern to all us New Zealanders, considering how it can be misused on any New Zealander, and the consequences of been charged under the act. In this case New Zealand Activists not Terrorists charged with being Terrorists under the “Terrorism Act”. Soon it will be the Prime Minister who will decide who is a terrorist, not the courts. So these Activists charged this time, can count their lucky stars that this new proposed law is not in effect, as she would have had the same information as the police. Its time for all New Zealanders took a step back to have a breather on this issue and were we are going as a nation. This years Parihaka Peace Festival would be a good starting place for healing. The Prime Minister and her Police Commissioner should be invited to see how real New Zealanders and their families get together and celebrate and learn about each others history culture and diversity under a flag of peace. Tama iti was at the festival last year enjoying the festivities with his grandchildren with the rest of us. If Tame iti is deemed a terrorist, then so are we all. God -For-Give for just being everyday KIWI's.
